Trim any visible fat from the boneless skinless chicken thighs.
MARINADE PREPARATION

In a large bowl, combine smoked paprika, dried sage, sea salt, dried parsley, red pepper flakes, garlic powder, olive oil, fresh lime juice, onion powder, and fresh chopped cilantro.
MARINATING

Coat the chicken thighs in the marinade, ensuring they are well covered. Store in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
GRILLING

Preheat the grill to high heat, to at least 350⁰C. Grease the grates with vegetable oil.

Place the marinated chicken on the hot grill and cook for one minute on each side.

Transfer the chicken thighs to the indirect heat area of the grill, cover and barbecue for an additional 5 to 10 minutes until the chicken is white and juices run clear.

To ensure the chicken is cooked, insert a meat thermometer into the thickest part of the thigh; it should read at least 165°F/74°C.
