Place the trimmed green beans on a sheet pan and season with 1/2 tsp salt and 1/2 tsp black pepper. Toss the green beans to ensure they are evenly seasoned.

Place the sheet pan in the oven and bake for 15 minutes. Remove the pan from the oven and drizzle the remaining glaze over the chicken and green beans. Return the pan to the oven and continue baking for an additional 15 minutes, or until the chicken has reached an internal temperature of 165°F.
