In a bowl, combine 2 tsp minced garlic, 1 Tbsp grated fresh ginger, 2 Tbsp reduced sodium soy sauce, 1 Tbsp rice vinegar, 2 tsp sesame oil, 1 Tbsp sesame seeds, 1/2 tsp Chinese five-spice powder, and 1/4 tsp black pepper.
