Mince the garlic and finely chop the rosemary. Set these aside for later.

Pat the salmon dry with paper towels. This helps the oil and seasonings to adhere better.

Sprinkle the sea salt and black pepper on both sides of each salmon piece.

Drizzle the extra-virgin olive oil over the salmon, then spread the minced garlic, chopped rosemary, and lemon zest evenly over the top.

Place the seasoned salmon on the prepared baking sheet.

Bake in the preheated oven for about 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.
