Press the extra-firm tofu between paper towels to remove excess moisture, then cut into ¾-inch cubes.

Coat the tofu cubes evenly on all sides with the all-purpose flour.

Heat the vegetable oil in a cast iron or non-stick pan until shimmering.

Fry the tofu cubes in a single layer in the hot oil until golden brown on all sides, approximately 3 minutes per side. Then set aside on a plate lined with paper towels.

In a saucepan, whisk together the soy sauce, rice vinegar, grated ginger, minced garlic, sesame seeds, sesame oil, raw honey, red pepper flakes, and corn starch until fully combined.

Bring the sauce to a full boil over medium heat, whisking continuously. Allow it to cook for about 5 minutes or until it thickens and becomes translucent.
