Delicious golden tofu chunks tossed in a rich sesame glaze, accompanied by tender broccoli - delivering a delightful blend of sweet, tangy, and spicy flavors. Perfect for a flavorful dinner, served with steamed rice or your favorite noodles.
In a bowl, combine soy sauce, rice vinegar, maple syrup, minced garlic, minced ginger, toasted sesame oil and red pepper flakes. Stir in the cornstarch-mixture.
2
Place the tofu pieces in a large oven-safe skillet on medium heat. Cook until each side is golden brown, about 5 minutes per side.
3
Pre-heat the oven's broiler and position the top oven rack about six inches from the heat source. Transfer the pan to the oven, broil the tofu for about 7 minutes until it gets crispy.
4
Transfer the pan back to the stovetop and set to medium-low heat. (Remember, handle with care as it would be hot).
5
Pour the prepared sauce over the tofu and add broccoli florets to the pan.
6
Simmer for about 5 minutes, until the sauce has thickened and the broccoli is tender.
7
Garnish with sesame seeds and sliced green onions before serving.
