Season the cleaned and patted dry scallops with ground black pepper.

In a small bowl, combine the honey, Sriracha, apple cider vinegar, and salt to make the honey Sriracha sauce. Set aside.

Heat olive oil in a skillet, preferably cast iron, over medium heat.

Add the minced garlic to the skillet and cook for about 30 seconds, until fragrant.

Place the scallops into the skillet and cook for 2 minutes, or until lightly seared.

Flip the scallops and cook for another 2 minutes.

Pour the honey Sriracha sauce over the scallops and continue to cook, occasionally spooning the sauce over the scallops, until the sauce thickens and the scallops are cooked through.
