Clean the spinach and wash it thoroughly under running water. Blanch the spinach in boiling water for 3-4 minutes, then drain the water and immerse the spinach in cold water to stop the cooking process.

Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat. Add cumin seeds and dried red chilies, and let them cook for a few seconds until fragrant.

Add chopped onion and minced garlic to the pan, and cook until the onion turns translucent.

Add chopped tomato and cook for 3-4 minutes, stirring occasionally.
