Heat oven to 350°F and grease a 13x9 baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.

Begin cooking your flavored spaghetti as per the package instructions, aiming for al dente. Once done, drain and set aside.
SAUCE

While the spaghetti is cooking, heat olive oil and butter in a large skillet over medium heat.

Add the chopped onions to the skillet and sauté until they are soft and translucent. This should take around 4-5 minutes.

Add your minced garlic to the skillet and stir for about 30 seconds until you can smell the aroma.

Next, add your Italian sausage to the skillet, breaking it into small pieces as it browns.

Once the sausage is thoroughly browned, stir in the marinara sauce, red wine, half of the chopped basil, and half of the grated Parmesan cheese. Season with salt and freshly ground black pepper.

Next, mix the cooked spaghetti into the skillet until it is well coated with the mixture.
