Succulent Pan-Seared Ribeye Steak with Rosemary-Garlic Butter
The highlight of this dish is the tender, grass-fed ribeye steak seasoned with a spice rub and pan-seared to perfection, further enhanced by a flavorful rosemary-garlic infused butter. The robust flavors of this dish make it perfect for a special occasion or a fancy dinner at home.
Take a small bowl and mix the sea salt, black pepper, paprika, onion powder, and garlic powder together. Set the spice mix aside.
2
Pat the ribeye steaks dry with paper towels. Lightly rub each steak on all sides with olive oil. Then generously sprinkle the spice mix over each side of the steaks, patting it in with your fingers to stick.
3
Heat a cast-iron skillet on high heat until it begins to smoke. Carefully add the ghee to the skillet.
4
Place the steaks in the hot skillet. Pan-sear the steaks for 3 minutes on one side. Flip the steaks and pan-sear the other side for another 3 minutes for medium-rare steaks.
5
Transfer the cooked steaks to a plate and tent with foil to rest.
6
Meanwhile, reduce the heat to medium-low. Add the minced garlic and minced rosemary to the pan drippings in the skillet.
7
Once garlic is softened and the rosemary is fragrant, about 2 minutes, add the rest of the ghee to the skillet. Stir and cook until the butter is melted and the flavors are combined.
8
Spoon the rosemary-garlic butter over the rested steaks. Serve immediately while hot.
