Preheat the oven to 475°F (245°C) and line a standard-sized baking sheet with parchment paper.

Lightly flour a clean surface, and roll the store-bought pizza dough into a large, narrow rectangle, approximately 18x7 inches.
STROMBOLI FILLING

Evenly spread the pizza sauce over the dough, leaving a 1-inch margin from the edge.

Evenly distribute the ricotta cheese, grated parmesan, grated mozzarella, pepperoni slices, and slices of deli ham on top of the sauce.

Carefully roll up the dough like a cinnamon roll and pinch the edges to seal. Fold the seam underneath.

Fold the ends of the stromboli and transfer them to the prepared baking sheet. Make sure to place them side by side, seam side down, keeping at least 4 inches between them.
TOPPING

In a small bowl, whisk the large egg with 1 tablespoon of water. Then, brush the stromboli with the egg mixture and create small slits on top using a sharp knife.
