Expiration & Storage Tips
When does Tostada expire?
Tostada shells stored in a pantry can remain in good condition for about 2-3 weeks past the ‘best by’ date printed on the package. Once opened, tostada shells should be consumed within 7 to 10 days for optimal freshness. If the tostada shells get soggy or lose their crispiness, it's best to use them up soon or replace them. Tostada shells can also be frozen for up to 8 months.
How do you tell if Tostada is bad?
A quick visual inspection of your tostada shells can often tell you if they have gone bad. If you notice any signs of mold, discoloration or if they have an strange odor, it's best to throw them out. Also, try and check the texture. If they have become soft or soggy, they might have started to go bad.
