Indulge in tender and juicy steak bites cooked with scrumptious caramelized mushrooms in a mouthwatering garlic-butter sauce. This one-pan recipe is incredibly easy to make, ready in just 20 minutes!
In a mixing bowl, combine steak cubes with salt, pepper, smoked paprika, garlic powder, and Italian Seasoning. Toss until well coated.
2
Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large cast-iron skillet or heavy-bottomed skillet over medium-high heat.
3
Add the seasoned steak bites to the hot skillet in a single layer, ensuring they sizzle upon contact. If not, allow the skillet to heat up a bit more before adding the remaining bites.
4
Sear the steak bites for 1 minute without moving them, then flip using tongs or a spatula.
5
Add 2 tablespoons of butter and half of the minced garlic to the skillet, cooking the steak for another 1 to 2 minutes. Be careful not to overcook the steak. Transfer the cooked steak bites to a plate and cover to keep warm.
6
Pour the remaining tablespoon of vegetable oil into the skillet and heat over medium-high heat. Add sliced mushrooms and season with salt and pepper. Cook for 3 minutes, or until browned.
7
Stir in the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter and the rest of the minced garlic, cooking for another 2 to 3 minutes, or until the mushrooms are soft.
8
Return the steak bites and their drippings to the skillet, stirring to combine and heating for 30 seconds or until warmed through.
9
Remove the skillet from heat and let stand for 5 minutes. Garnish the dish with chopped fresh parsley before serving.
