In a frying pan, heat sesame oil over medium heat. Once heated, add minced garlic and cook until fragrant.

Increase the heat to medium-high and add the chicken to the pan. Season with salt and pepper, continuously stir until the chicken is cooked thoroughly. This should take around 5 minutes.

Add the thinly sliced yellow onions to the pan and continue to sauté for another 2 minutes until onions are translucent.

Introduce jalapeno slices to the pan, stirring well, and cook for an additional minute.

Remove the pan from the heat. Stir in the sliced green onions.

To serve, transfer the saute to a plate and sprinkle over the toasted sesame seeds.
