Wash the Russet potatoes and slice them into about half-inch thick rounds. Make sure you do not cut them all the way through, keep the bottom attached.

Arrange potatoes in a deep baking dish.

In a separate bowl, combine melted unsalted butter, sea salt and white pepper. Drizzle this mixture over potatoes.

Bake the potatoes uncovered for 55 minutes or until they turn golden and crispy.
