If chicken breasts are thick, place them between plastic wraps and pound gently to a uniform thickness of 1 inch, this will ensure that they cook evenly.

Season chicken breasts on both sides with salt, pepper and minced garlic, rubbing the seasonings in to ensure even coating.

Heat olive oil in a large non-stick skillet over medium-high heat.

When oil is hot, add chicken breasts to the pan, Make sure to not overcrowd the pan and cook in batches if needed.

Cook chicken for 4 minutes on each side, until golden brown and cooked through.

Squeeze the juice of the lemon all over the chicken in the skillet just before it's done. This will provide a burst of fresh flavor and some delightful tang!
