Set a pot of lightly salted water to boil for the pasta.

While the water is heating, heat the olive oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium heat.

Add the chicken strips and garlic powder to the skillet, mixing well until the chicken is evenly coated. Cook for approximately 5 minutes until chicken is lightly browned.

Add the thinly sliced red bell pepper to the chicken, continue to cook for another 3-4 minutes till peppers soften and chicken is cooked through.

By now, your pasta water should be boiling. Add in the angel hair pasta and cook as per package instructions to al dente. Drain and set aside.

Lower the heat under the skillet and stir in the pre-made pesto sauce and bottled lemon juice amongst the chicken and peppers.

Add the drained pasta to the skillet, mix well ensuring that the pasta is evenly coated with the pesto sauce.

Sprinkle the pre-shredded Italian cheese blend over the pasta and cover. Let it simmer on low heat for 2-3 minutes till the cheese has melted.
