Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium high heat. Add the sausages and cook, turning frequently, until browned on all sides and cooked through, about 10 minutes. Remove the sausages from the skillet and set them aside.

Lower the heat to medium, add the onion, garlic, and mushrooms to the same skillet, and saute until golden brown, about 4 minutes.
