Experience the delicious and tender flavor of Honey-Glazed Tenderloin Ribbons. Made with lean pork tenderloin and a scrumptious honey garlic glaze, it's the perfect way to bring healthy and tasty pork to your dinner table. Serve it over rice for a complete meal!
Lay the whole pork tenderloin between 2 sheets of plastic wrap and pound to about 1/2 inch thickness.
2
Season the pork with salt and black pepper on both sides.
3
Heat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat and cook the pork until it reaches an internal temperature of 150-155 degrees F, about 4-5 minutes per side.
4
While the pork is cooking, prepare the glaze. In a small saucepan, heat olive oil over medium heat, then add minced garlic, and sauté for 1-2 minutes or until softened, but not browned.
5
Add low sodium soy sauce and honey to the saucepan, and let it simmer for 4-5 minutes on low heat.
6
In a small bowl, dissolve corn starch in cold water, then add to the saucepan, stirring constantly. Cook for an additional minute until the glaze thickens.
7
During the last 2-3 minutes of cooking the pork, brush the glaze onto both sides of the tenderloin.
8
Remove the pork from the heat and let it rest for 10 minutes.
9
Slice the pork into rib-sized pieces and serve with any remaining glaze on the side. Goes great with rice as well!
