Decadent Chocolate Cheesecake with Fresh Strawberries

In a medium bowl, mix together finely crushed OREO cookies and melted butter. Press the mixture onto the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan. Bake for 10 minutes, then remove pan from the oven and let it cool.

In a large bowl, with an electric mixer, beat softened PHILADELPHIA Cream Cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and blended.
Add large eggs, one at a time, mixing on low speed after each addition just until blended.

Pour the batter over the cooled crust. Tap the pan gently to remove any air bubbles.

Bake for 45 to 55 minutes, or until the center is almost set (cheesecake should still jiggle slightly in the center).

Remove the cheesecake from the oven and run a thin knife around the outer rim of the pan to loosen the cake. Let the cheesecake cool completely in the pan on a wire rack.

Refrigerate cheesecake for at least 4 hours, or preferably overnight.
