Description
The skin of the pomegranate is thick and inedible, but there are hundreds of edible seeds within. Each seed is surrounded by a red, juicy and sweet seed covering known as an aril. Pomegranates can be stored at room temperature when whole, once seeded cover and store in the refrigerator.. Deseeding Instructions: First, fill a large bowl with water. Then, quarter the pomegranate, and place one of the quarters under the water. Pull apart the skin, and gently nudge the seeds out. Pieces of skin will float to the top, so pour these off with some of the water into the sink
