Add the drained and rinsed jackfruit and minced garlic to the skillet, continue to cook for about 5 minutes until jackfruit softens and can be pulled apart with a spoon

Add water, vegan BBQ sauce, apple cider vinegar, smoked paprika, garlic powder, and mustard powder. Stir until the jackfruit is evenly coated

Simmer the mixture for 10 more minutes or until water is mostly absorbed and the mixture thickens
