Quick and Tasty Duo Deviled Eggs
Enjoy a quick and tasty snack for two with these delectable deviled eggs, enhanced with a blend of mayonnaise, mustard, and seasoning, topped off with a sprinkle of chives and paprika.
2 large eggs
1 tbsp mayonnaise
1/4 tsp dijon mustard
0 tsp seasoning salt
1/8 tsp paprika
1 tbsp fresh chives
Fill a small saucepot with one inch of water and cover the pot.
Turn the heat on to high and allow the water to come to a full boil.
Carefully add the eggs to the pot using tongs or a slotted spoon, then replace the lid.
Turn the heat down slightly, ensuring the water continues to boil, and steam the eggs for 12 minutes.
After 12 minutes, turn off the heat, remove the lid, and place the pot with the eggs under cool running water, or transfer them to a bowl of ice water if the tap water is not cool.
Allow the eggs to sit in the cool water for five minutes.
Peel the eggs and slice them in half.
Remove the yolks and place them in a bowl.
Add the mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, and seasoning salt to the yolks, and mash them together.
Spoon the mashed yolk mixture back into the egg whites.
To garnish, sprinkle the tops of the deviled eggs with paprika and chives.
Serve immediately or refrigerate until ready to enjoy.
