In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, ground ginger, honey, sesame oil and ground black pepper to make the marinade. Cover the salmon fillets with the marinade and let them rest for 10 minutes.

Preheat your oven to 400° Fahrenheit, then line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Place the salmon onto the baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes until the fish easily flakes with a fork. The cooking time will vary depending on the size of your fillets.
