Rinse the glutinous rice until the water runs clear, then soak it in enough water to cover it for at least one hour.

Drain the glutinous rice and place it in an Instant Pot. Add 4 cups water and cook on high pressure for 10 minutes.
SYRUP PREPARATION

While waiting for the rice, in a medium-sized pot, bring the coconut milk and brown sugar to a boil. Stir until the sugar is fully dissolved. Reduce to simmer, stirring occasionally, until the mixture thickens to a syrup consistency.
ASSEMBLY

Once the rice is cooked, release the pressure on the Instant Pot manually. Pour the coconut syrup over the cooked rice and mix until the rice is evenly coated.

Transfer the mixture to a greased 9x13 inch pan and let it cool. Once cooled, cut into squares and serve.
