Expiration & Storage Tips
When does Water Enhancer expire?
Unopened water enhancers can usually last for about a year after their manufacturing date, even beyond the printed best-before date if they've been stored correctly. However, once opened, they typically last about one month. Unlike many food items, freezing water enhancers is not a common or recommended practice as it can disrupt the consistency and flavor profile of the product.
How do you tell if Water Enhancer is bad?
If your water enhancer has gone bad, you might notice a change in its smell or taste. The flavor may seem off or stale. Additionally, if you see any signs of mold or irregular color change in the liquid, or if the enhancer has become unusually cloudy, it's likely the product has spoiled and should be discarded immediately.
Tips for storing Water Enhancer to extend shelf life
• Store your water enhancer in a cool, dark place like a kitchen cupboard or pantry. Avoid placing it near sources of heat, such as an oven or radiator.
• Once opened, keep the cap tightly sealed when not in use to prevent exposure to air and contaminants.
• Do not leave the enhancer in direct sunlight, as this could degrade the quality of the product
• Avoid using the product directly from the bottle to prevent cross contamination. Instead, squeeze the desired amount into your water and close the bottle immediately.
