Cook your brown rice according to package directions and set it aside.

In a bowl, mix together the minced garlic, minced ginger, 1 teaspoon of sesame oil, and the Korean BBQ marinade.

Heat the remaining teaspoon of sesame oil in a large sauté pan over medium heat.

Add the sliced onions to the pan and season them with salt. Cook until they soften, usually about 4-5 minutes.

Add the ground beef to the pan and break it up into small pieces with a spatula or wooden spoon.
