Cast Iron Skillet Steaks with Savory Blue Cheese Butter

In a small bowl, thoroughly mix the unsalted butter, blue cheese crumbles, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and black pepper until smooth.

Lay out a 12-inch piece of cling film, spoon out the butter mixture onto it and shape it into a log by rolling and twisting the ends.

Place in the freezer for at least 1 hour until firm.
STEAK

Pat the strip steaks dry and brush each side with vegetable oil. Season both sides with salt and black pepper.

Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.

Place your cast iron skillet on the stove over medium-high heat. When the skillet is hot (a drop of water should sizzle and evaporate), add the steaks.
