Our White Pine needles are picked from a pristine mountain in Qinling and is processed by a professional tea company that has been in business of making tea for hundreds of years.. Our tea leaves (8.8oz) come in a loose form without tea bags. According to the National Library of Medicine, microplastics created by tea bags steeping in hot water cause a serious health risk; this is why we don't do tea bags. Also, loose tea is more eco-friendly.. Our Pine leaves are slow-dried in the shade. Dried Pine leaves last much longer than fresh Pine leaves and preserves delicate vitamin C. Roasting process destroys vitamin C.. White Pine has a more noticeable aroma and flavor compared to Masson pine tea. Expiration date for current batch is June 2024.. Easy to brew. Add about 2 heaping tablespoons of pine needle into a cup and pour in hot water. Cover cup with a small plate and steep for 10 to 15 minutes. Pour into another cup through a strainer to remove needle leaves. Enjoy as is or with lemon and honey.
