Petit Verdot is the most recognised single variety in Virginia. Petit Verdot is ofthen used in red blends. Consistent with small berries, this grape does very well in Virginia climate, producing intence color, bold and concenrate flavours wine. The wine has spicy notes of leather, smoke and dark chiocolate. Medium acidity, with long and soft tannins, aromas of violet and sage. The wine and will pair well with spicy pork, grileld steak, lamb and barbercues.
