These Bins were the result of legendary winemaker Max Schubert's aspiration to create a family of wines which shared the distinctive Penfolds quality stamp while exhibiting a unique style of their own. Penfolds Bin 2 is crafted from Shiraz and Mourvedre grape sourced from some of South Australia's most highly regarded growing regions. Nine months maturation in older oak has created a soft, medium bodied wine. Fine tannins court ripe dark cherry and raspberry characters.
