Chateau Prieure de Blaignan is a 23 heactare vineyard in the Medoc region of Bordeaux. Dating back to the 14th century, this estate was also the summer residence of the Count of Toulouse, Louis-Alexandre de Bourbon, who was the son of King Louis XIV.. The vines are planted on two limestone and clay hillocks and have an average age of 30 years.. Modern vinification is used to obtain maximum fruit and concentration. The wine is aged for 15 months prior to bottling. Blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. Tasting Notes: Deep ruby color.
