Casarecce originates from Sicily and southern Italy. From the Italian for "homemade," Casarecce is best suited for casseroles and chunky sauces. Made with organic durum wheat semolina using traditional bronze die, this pasta has a rough textured surface which allows it to better capture and hold sauces once cooked.
