Divide the ground beef into 4 equal portions. Shape each portion into a ball, and then flatten it into a patty. Make a small dent with your thumb halfway through the middle of each patty.
3
Season both sides of each patty with salt and black pepper.
4
Slice the hamburger buns in half and spread 1/2 tablespoon softened butter on the cut side of each half. Toast the buns in a pan or toaster, then set aside.
5
Heat a cast-iron griddle or skillet on high heat and drizzle vegetable oil. Add the patties and cook until browned and crispy, about 3-4 minutes. Flip, add a slice of cheese to each patty, and cook until the cheese is melted, about 1-2 minutes.
6
Assemble the burgers: Place a patty on the bottom half of each bun, spread Paprika Burger Sauce, top with lettuce, tomato, pickled red onions, and finally the top half of the bun.
