Peach Delight is a delicious and easy-to-prepare dessert that will become your new summer tradition. We're adding a crumb topping for an added crunch that perfectly contrasts with the softness of the buttery cake and sweet, flavorful peaches.
Preheat your oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit. Grease a 9x13 inch pan with cooking spray.
2
Combine the sliced peaches, cornstarch, cinnamon, and nutmeg in the greased pan and toss until the peaches are evenly coated.
3
In a separate bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, and salt. Mix these ingredients until well combined.
4
Pour the dry mixture over the peaches in an even layer.
5
Pour the melted butter over the top of the dry mixture, covering as much of the surface as possible.
CRUMB TOPPING
6
For the crumb topping, in a small bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, brown sugar, granulated sugar, and cinnamon. Add the cold, cubed butter and using your fingers, work the butter into the flour mixture until crumbs form.
7
Sprinkle the crumb topping evenly over the cake.
BAKING
8
Bake in the preheated oven for 35 to 40 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the peaches are bubbling.
