Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and coat a 9x13-inch baking dish with cooking spray.

Cook egg noodles in boiling water for 6-8 minutes until al dente. Drain and set aside.

In a large bowl, combine the sour cream and softened cream cheese. Mix until smooth. Stir the cooked egg noodles into the cream mixture until evenly coated, and then spread the noodles evenly into the prepared baking dish.

In a large skillet, cook ground beef over medium heat until no longer pink. Drain any excess fat.
