Preheat the grill to medium heat, 350-400 degrees F.

Place the salmon fillet on a piece of foil set on a large baking sheet.

Pat the salmon dry with a paper towel and let rest.
PINEAPPLE PEPPER SALSA

In a medium bowl, combine the diced pineapple, diced bell pepper, diced onion, finely chopped cilantro, finely diced jalapeno, minced garlic, lime juice, ¼ cup sweet & sour pineapple sauce, and 1 teaspoon seasoning salt.
SALMON

Pour avocado oil evenly over the salmon fillet.

Evenly sprinkle the salmon with 2 teaspoons seasoning salt.

Place the salmon onto the grill, skin-side-up.

Grill for 2 minutes.

Using two large spatulas, flip the salmon onto it's other side.

Brush ½ cup sweet & sour pineapple sauce over the salmon and grill for another 5-8 minutes.

Check if the salmon is cooked properly - the thickest end should bounce back when touched but should still be soft.

Remove the salmon carefully from the grill, discard the foil, and transfer the salmon onto the same baking sheet.
