Dive into comfort with our decadent Three-Milk Rice Pudding. This warming and sweet delight combines the richness of three different kinds of milk with the comforting familiarity of long-grain white rice. Accentuated with a hint of lime and cinnamon, our rice pudding can be enjoyed warm or chilled.
In a large saucepan, combine the water, salt, lime peel, and cinnamon sticks. Bring to a boil over medium heat.
2
Rinse the rice under cold water until the water runs clear. Add the rice to the boiling water. Stir, then reduce the heat to low, cover the pot, and simmer until the water is fully absorbed into the rice.
3
In the same saucepan, pour the whole milk, evaporated milk, and condensed milk on top of the cooked rice.
4
Increase the heat to medium-low and cook uncovered, stirring occasionally, for about 30 minutes.
5
Add the raisins to the saucepan and stir. Maintain the heat on low and continue to simmer for another 10 minutes.
6
With careful attention, ensure the mixture doesn't overflow the saucepan.
7
Turn off the heat and remove the cinnamon sticks and lime peel. Allow the pudding to cool slightly for about 30 minutes.
8
Before serving, sprinkle the rice pudding with the ground cinnamon. Enjoy warm or keep it in the refrigerator and serve chilled.
