Preheat oven to 375°F.

In a large oven-safe pot or Dutch oven, melt unsalted butter over medium heat. Add finely chopped onion and cook until tender, about 4 minutes.

Stir in the condensed cream of chicken soup, chicken broth, uncooked instant rice, broccoli florets, shredded chicken, dried oregano, dried basil, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.
