Preheat oven to 400°F and spray a 9x13-inch casserole dish with nonstick cooking spray.

In a large skillet, sauté ground beef with taco seasoning until fully cooked. Add chopped onion, drained corn, rinsed and drained black beans, and diced green chilies. Sauté for an additional 3 minutes, and then pour the mixture into the prepared casserole dish.

CORNBREAD

Prepare cornbread mix according to package directions. Stir in grated cheddar cheese until evenly distributed.

Pour and spread the cornbread-cheese mixture over the beef filling in the casserole dish.

BAKING

Bake for 18-22 minutes or until cornbread is golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the cornbread comes out clean.

GARNISH
