In a large skillet with a lid, add in the ground beef and crumble it with a spatula.

Season the beef with black pepper.

Cook and crumble the ground beef until browned.

Do not drain the fat after cooking.

Add diced onion and minced garlic to the skillet and stir.

Cover with the lid and cook on medium-low heat for 15 minutes. Then remove the lid and stir.
