Place the bacon slices on a baking sheet and cook for 15-20 minutes or until crispy.

Remove the bacon from the oven and brush each slice with maple syrup.

In a blender, combine the vanilla ice cream, whole milk, ground nutmeg, and 4 slices of the maple-glazed bacon.

Blend on high for 1-2 minutes or until smooth.

Decorate the inside of a glass with melted chocolate, if desired.

Top the milkshake with whipped cream and the remaining 2 slices of maple-glazed bacon.
