Driven by the popularity of mixing BENEDICTINE liqueur with brandy the Benedictine company decided to bottle their own in 1938, blending fine French Brandy with BENEDICTINE & allowing the flavors to harmonize in century old vats – developing a taste which cannot be compared by simple mixing alone. At the heart of B&B’s flavor is BENEDICTINE liqueur, a blend of no less than 27 spices softened with a touch of honey with a recipe dating back to 1510 when Benedictine monk Dom Bernardo Vincelli, created a secret elixir that would be famous for years to come.
