Description
Inspired by the field blends made popular during the Prohibition era, Double Black is crafted using grapes from select vineyards throughout Northern California. The Double Black is a dark red that pays homage to Gnarly Head's first vineyard plantings in 1924, and their underground dealings during Prohibition's black market era. A blend of Zinfandel, Merlot and Syrah, crafted in the throwback, field blend style preferred by speakeasies, 1924 Double Black upholds the Gnarly Head maxim of bold and rebellious.
